I made it through my Quilty Project Lineup with time to spare! I shared all the projects I wanted to make but I didn’t tell you that my goal was to have them ALL completed by the 4th of July. That was my ultimate mission and I succeded!
This patriotic number called A Tribute to Yoda was last on my list and thanks to Esperanza, my trusty longarm, I finished it on June 23rd! It’s a free pattern that includes 15 different layouts of just 12 blocks!

I’ve been loosely following Christina Cameli’s Drawing Together videos on IG and YouTube: afewscraps. I REALLY like her organic style of free motion quilting. So this quilt is a bunch of practicing. I have also been practicing doodling on paper. It’s not all pretty but my mind is slowly but surely catching on.

I backed it w/this Red & White Stripe.

I also finished my third scrappy trips.

Again I used Christina-inspired quilting but I only practiced one motif this time. I think I’ve just about mastered this one.

I backed it with this fun bold print. I don’t even know where I got this fabric but I had the perfect amount to back this quilt.

And don’t you think this marigold binding complements it well?

And I bartered the solid Scrappy Trips for a new summer wreath! Lauren did a fantastic job of including all the flowers I requested! Sunflower, Daisies, Lilies, Zinnias, AND Hostas! She’s Feltastic Creations on Facebook and Instagram.

That’s all for today folks. Thanks for stopping by. Have a happy and safe 4th of July!
