I am in total “maker” mode. I plan to make a lot of quilts this year. And I plan to make them one at a time, meaning, I’ll complete one before I start another, with the exception of my Scrappy Trips. I started Scrappy Trips in January but I have to put it aside to make a few more things.

I’m currently working on a barter project. I’m making a pair of quilted pillow shams and a set of pillowcases in exchange for an everyday felt flower wreath. My friend Lauren, aka Feltastic Creations (IG @feltasticcreations) makes amazing flowers out of felt and creates these stunning wreaths with them. Here are the two holiday wreaths I purchased from her last year.

Next up is a baby girl quilt for my niece who is due March 20th. My goal is for baby girl to have her quilt by her birthday. These are the fabrics I’ve chosen as of right now.

I’ve never made a Tumbler Quilt so I plan to use my 6″ AccuQuilt tumbler die from this set of Bullseye dies.

Right after that I’m going to quilt and finish this challenge quilt.

Me and a couple of friends who went to Houston Quilt Festival Houston are doing a fat quarter challenge for Quilts Beyond Borders sponsored by the Fat Quarter Shop. We added some of our own rules to the challenge, like we can only use 3 other fabrics along w/the supplied fat quarter and it has to be completed by April 25, 2020.
Then I’m back to working on my Scrappy Trips. Which I plan to make king size and eventually quilt on my domestic. Pray for me.

I’m hoping to finish it by end of May so that I can get on to the next quilt in my lineup which is a baby boy quilt for another niece who is due on July 10. Again I’d like for baby boy to have his quilt by his birthday. Here are the fabrics I pulled for his quilt. At this moment I’m thinking of a Tumbler Quilt for him too.

After baby boy’s quilt, I’d like to finally quilt Meadowland that I pieced last summer.

A new, Midwest, in real life friend and sister in Christ, Madonna (@sunnybunnyquilts on IG) has inspired me to start quilting my own quilts again which aligns well w/my plan to pay off some debt by year’s end. Thank you Madonna! This is her very, very, extra very, lovely make that really just got the inspiration ignited! Look at that tantalizing texture!

And last but not least in my quilty project lineup, is a FREE patriotic number called A Tribute To Yoda. There are 15 layout variations at the end of this pattern, but my fave is this one.

I purchased these reds, whites, and blues last year to make this quilt.

That’s my lineup so far. What do you think? Pretty ambitious huh? Say another prayer for me and stay tuned for my progress.
Thanks for stopping by. Until next time, God Bless and Happy Stitchin’!
