Refinished

I got this step stool several years ago from friends who were moving out of state. I took it not only because it’s my favorite color but w/the intention of refinishing it.

When I found this lovely canvas print at Goodwill around the same time, I knew it was meant to be.

I just didn’t think it would take me 3 years!

But I can now tick this off my “To Do” list!

Sweet Sixteen

I finished all 16 Starlett blocks and I love each and every one!20170418_204407 (1)

As is, the quilt will finish at 72.5″ square which is not quite large enough to fit a queen size bed and have some drape to it.  I don’t want to add ultra wide borders so I’ll be adding sashing between the blocks and narrower borders.

I auditioned this light purple, which would work, but my customer prefers something in a blue tone.20170417_183953 (2)

Totally Off Topic & A Giveaway

When I was putting on lipstick the other day, I thought about how my sis hates the way my lipstick ends up being shaped. She says it’s ugly.  Considering how a lot of lipstick comes brand new, I think my lipstick shape is perfectly normal.

My sis’ lipstick on the other hand, is a hot mess. It looks as if she rolls it all the way up to apply and then forgets to roll it back down before putting the top back on. LOL!

Alas, I’ll let y’all be the judge. Whose lipstick is uglier?

It got me to thinking about something I saw on Facebook awhile back. About how your lipstick shape says a little something about the type of person you are.

Lipstick

Mine most resembles the curved shape, so I guess that means I’m Outgoing. They don’t have a “hot mess” category, but I can tell you that my sister’s lipstick ultimately ends up flat because she throws away the 7/8 of it that breaks off, so that makes her Frank. hahaha.
