A New Chapter

There have been some changes in my life since last I posted. No, I didn’t get married. though I am hopeful that will happen someday. No, these changes include selling a house, buying another, and moving to a different state!

The idea for this move began in late May when I learned an opportunity within our company was coming available.

Me being me, not afraid of change and always ready for a new adventure, said of course I’d consider it.

Fast forward five months and I’m now a resident of the great state of Wisconsin!

I also have a new grandson! My middle son, who lives in Albuquerque, had his first baby in October and I get to meet him at Thanksgiving! Isn’t he precious!

Stay tuned for another BIG announcement!

  1. Congrats on your life updates!!! Your grandson is adorable! You’re in the state next door to me now!

  2. Congratulations on the move – you live in a neighboring state now! Yay! Best of all, though, is that handsome little grandson! What wonderful changes – and there’s still another big announcement?! I’m excited to hear about that!

  3. Hi Zenia! Welcome to Wisconsin!! I’m down in the SE corner near Racine and Kenosha. You’re just in time for our first measurable snow on Tuesday, maybe. Enjoy the heck out of that grandbaby. They grown like weeds. Congrats on the new job and getting settled in. {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne

  4. Zenia, congratulations on all of this exciting news, especially that precious little grandbaby boy!!! Wisconsin is a beautiful state and I hope all those cheese heads or whatever they call themselves realize how lucky they are to have you. Finally, change can be stressful even when they are positive changes, so I hope you’re taking good care of yourself and getting some stitching time in when you can. Consider yourself hugged, blessed, and cheered on from the sidelines! I’m looking forward to hearing about your other Big News, when you’re able to share it!

  5. Hi Zenia, welcome to Wisconsin!!! I live in Southeast Wisconsin, and we have a rich quilting history in our area and State. I wish the Packers had a better record to welcome you as a new cheesehead!
