It’s finally finished! And I couldn’t be happier!

I finished the top last summer sometime around June. I posted about it here.

I played it safe and did organic wavy lines…again.

One of these days I’ll venture outside of my comfort zone, but these organic wavy lines afford darn good texture.

And a few more pics after washing.

I am one happy camper!

Until next time, God bless and Happy Stitchin’!

p.s. I don’t know about y’all but I’m so looking forward to going to church to praise and worship alongside my brothers and sisters!

A Thread for Life

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:24-25 NIV

  1. I love the quilt, Zenia, with all its bright, happy colors! I do like the wavy quilting and the look it gives. What a great finish! We are still not open fully here in MN, so we are still not allowed to gather at church. Enjoy gathering with your church family!

  2. I just bought this pattern and now I can’t wait to make it! I love the directional fabric you used as the background. It is so much more interesting than a plain color. It plays well with your other fabrics, which are so bold and beautiful. Job very well done.
I am also wondering where you got your labels made–I need to get them made too. Thanks!

  3. Your quilt is gorgeous!! I love all the colors and the quilting design you used! You are good at putting colors together and having them sing. Hugs,

  4. LOVE how your Meadowland quilt!! It is SEW different from others I’ve seen. Way to take the pattern and infuse your own personality into it!

  5. Well done! There’s nothing wrong with organic wavy lines. It gives great texture.

  6. Fantastic color palette and fabric choices! I’ve been eyeing Meadowland too! It seems like a very versatile pattern! Great job!
