I finally pulled my Merry Sparkle Punch WIP/UFO out and started working on it.
This is an old pic. It is not yet on my design wall again. I had less than 1/3 of it done when I put it away.
To be honest, since it’s a Christmas quilt I was going to push it back to later in the year, but I really want to get it to flimsy status ASAP.
I took it w/me to Saturday Sew, but didn’t get any stitches in as Viola, my traveling Featherweight, was acting up. So instead I cut the HSTs needed for my star points.
I was able to get several star points sewn later Saturday evening.
Then I noticed the bonus HSTs from my Two Hearts pillows, just sitting off to the side of my machine. I’d used them as leaders/enders, and since there were only 16 of them, I decided to sew them together.
As I put the mini on my design wall to take a pic, I realized I would soon have to clear off all that’s on there, to make room for my Merry Sparkle Punch layout.
But for a few more days, I will enjoy this beautiful randomness.

Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. – Psalm 139:23-24 NIV
I can’t wait to see all those rich colors come together. I know you will be happy once you get it up on the design wall. Yay!
All those stars are so pretty together – your quilt will be stunning! I keep random blocks / fabric on my design wall too. I love that you call it Beautiful Randomness. 🙂 Thanks for linking to MCM!
Good luck. The stars you have done already look great.
