Eventually, I will have a quilt to display/decorate for every holiday/season, but in the meantime, pillows will have to do!
I love these heart pillows I made for V Day.
The heart block is a free pattern from Amy Smart at Diary of a Quilter.
I quilted the darker one w/straight lines using thin masking tape as a guide.
I did all diagonals in one direction first, then the other.
I quilted the other heart w/a free motion meander. I’m extremely pleased w/the results. It’s been quite awhile since I’ve attempted fmq meander.
Then, I used this tutorial to turn the quilted blocks into pillow covers.
Thanks for stopping by.
Have a great weekend!

Cute pillows, and right in time for Valentine’s Day. Great idea using the tape as a guide for quilting!
Tape as a guide. Why have I never done this. These pillows are beauties. Great job sis. 😊
Very cute! Hugs,
They are so cute. Happy Valentine’s Day to you!!
As usual your color selections are lovely! I like both of your pillows. But I really like the darker colors on that pillow… how they look together is complementing. Very nice for Heart Day! Ya can’t go wrong with love.
Looks like you are ready for Valentine’s Day… enjoy!!
These are adorable. Great job.
Cute pillows. I keep fighting the urge to make something for Valentines Day, then I see something this great!
