I got this step stool several years ago from friends who were moving out of state. I took it not only because it’s my favorite color but w/the intention of refinishing it.
When I found this lovely canvas print at Goodwill around the same time, I knew it was meant to be.
I just didn’t think it would take me 3 years!
But I can now tick this off my “To Do” list!

The red duct tape did have its own appeal (ha!), but that fabric is beautiful. What a bright spot that will be in your house, and useful, too.
Oh so pretty. Those step stools are fairly pricey in some antique/vintage stores these days. What a big step up from the duct tape!
My grandparents had e of those stools and I am so mad that I Kent get it before it was tossed r given away!! Now I need one so that I can get my tale Ted friend to make it beautiful like hers!! 😊
