Mo Better Blues

After not really feeling my first batch of mug rugs, I decided not to use any of the original Asian fabric after all.

I instead chose these blues, which still give off an Asian vibe. I like these much better.
In addition to the Mock Logs block, I made one called Forest Paths. Both patterns are from Quilt Blocks Galore aka Quilter’s Cache.a955d188-3978-45ea-a379-8c5c9fc5f4f4

It was quite the chore binding the first block, so I opted for a quick turn/birthing method on the second one.  This suited me much better and it’ll be my method of choice for finishing any/all mug rugs I make in the future.72868755-17ca-4e7c-9bca-6c4ca33eb81f

A Thread for Life
Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony. And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful. – Col. 3:14-15

  1. Your blue fabrics are just wonderful! Especially with the little white squares showing off their tiny blue flowers. The whole combination is complex and sophisticated.
