I’ve got most of the columns pinned together and numbered. Once all are pinned, I’ll start to sew them together. This hexagon/kaleidoscope quilt really should be the only thing I’m working on since the challenge is to have it completed by December…but I’m hard headed and working on something else too. (I have M.P.D. remember?!)
I’m making this wall hanging for my office…w/bolder colors of course.
This is my first attempt at applique. The instructions suggest a small blanket stitch. It will be done w/a machine…because I simply have no desire to hand applique. I’m scared of applique though and wondering if just using the fusible web will be enough. I mean, do I really have to sew around the edges? I think it’s coming along nicely though. What do you think?
A Thread for Life
I pray that He may grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power in the inner man through His Spirit, and that the Messiah may dwell in your hearts through faith. I pray that you, being rooted and firmly established in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the length and width, height and depth of God’s love, and to know the Messiah’s love that surpasses knowledge, so you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do above and beyond all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us — to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. Eph: 3:16-21 hcsb
